Quest Drape–Chicago Opens March 1

Good news travels fast. Before Quest Drape-Chicago has secured a permanent location, orders for The Best Drape. The Best Service. are quickly coming in.

With a new location comes leadership through an A/V industry expert, Ryan Birch, and two relocations by proven veterans of Quest Drape – Kris Bush, Regional Sales Manager and Sean Dionne, Operations Manager I.

Ryan Birch joins the Quest Drape Chicago team as our Director of Operations. After working with PSAV for seven years, starting as a technician in 2005, he worked his way up through the ranks to Director of Event Technology at The Westin Michigan Avenue Chicago.  

Kris Bush joined the Quest team in March of 2009 as the Atlanta Sales Manager, and after Quest seeing a need for her talents in Florida, relocated to the Orlando Market in November of 2009. Prior to coming on board with Quest, she represented Get Married.com as a Regional Sales Manager.

Sean Dionne has been with Quest since June of 2006 where he started as a part-time installer and was quickly promoted to a Project Manager in October of 2006. Sean left for a brief period in 2007 to return to school full-time, and came back to Quest in January of 2008. In early 2011, he was promoted to the Operations Manager II in Orlando. In Chicago, he will currently serve as Chicago’s Operations Manager I.

Quest Drape was delighted with the opportunity to provide drape for Sophie Gustafson’s photo shoot with Golf World magazine.  Sophie Gustafson, winner of 28 pro events, including five LPGA titles and 14 triumphs on the Ladies European Tour took front stage in an in-person interview with Golf World in January.

In the world of professional sports it can be a challenge to find someone that exemplifies courage in a less than favorable situation. Not the case with Sophie Gustafson as demonstrated when she decided after years of silence and hiding from the press, due to a severe stuttering problem, that it was time to take control of her circumstance and give her first television interview. The interview with Golf Channel, which aired prior to the start of the Solheim Cup, received high praise from Ms. Gustafson’s peers and fans but most importantly from parents of children who struggle with stuttering. The emails, letters and comments on Ms. Gustafson’s blog have encouraged her to continue to face her fears and look at how she can better help others believe in themselves.

Coupled with these wonderful attributes and the dedication of the Quest Drape team Quest was awarded ‘Best Boothmanship’ –  TSE 2012. 

On September 15th, Quest Drape Dallas was honored to provide draping for the 34th birthday party for Jason Terry of the World Champions Dallas Mavericks.

Quest draped the stage wall with 18' Tall White Drape with 4 Panels of White over it and tasseled off in an hour glass look. Jason's VIP area was 2x10' Curved Bars with 40' of White Drape to create a private look and compliment the furniture. 1200 guests enjoyed the night with basketball players and celebrities form New York and Los Angeles.

She began by assisting one of our favorite event planners, Rita Patel of Ribha Events, providing our drape to add to the festive flair of the Perfect Wedding Guide Luncheon. She was however able to pause for a moment with Christie Oss of Chair Covers and Linens for a photo op in their sassy saris. I've also included just one of many more pics to come of a wedding we did for Rita recently at The Classic Center in Athens, Georgia.
